JUNIOR PERFORMANCE ANALYST

THE CHALLENGE

  • Ensure GIPS (GIPS = Global Investment Performance Standards) compliance and handle GIPS related topics from all areas/locations.
  • Monitor and review performance development of client accounts and identify/analyse performance outliers
  • Handle performance measurement related topics from all areas/locations and enhance IT solutions

REQUIREMENTS

University/University of Applied Sciences degree in Banking/Finance/Economics (Master or Bachelor degree) Profound IT knowledge with emphasis on database development skills (MS Office, hands-on experience with MS Access/VBA, SQL and/or .NET
3+ years experience in performance related area in Private Banking or Asset Management
Strong organizational and planning skills as well as cross-linked thinking
Ability to deliver constant good quality under high pressure Fluency in spoken and written English is a must




GROUP COMMUNICATIONS TEAM COORDINATOR

Location: New York Office

THE CHALLENGE

We need a team coordinator for an important role in the Group Communications team, with the responsibility of protecting and enhancing Empire Capitals reputation – but we can’t do that without the support of a team coordinator, to make sure everything runs smoothly. We’re really not kidding when we say that this role is central to the effective operation of our team.

The Background

We need someone to manage the logistics and day to day operations, so that the team can focus on things like working with journalists, managing Empire Capitals corporate social media and producing great internal communications campaigns.

The Team

Group communications covers internal and external communications, so you’ll get to see how we work with a wide range of stakeholders – including colleagues, journalists, social media communities and business leaders across the group’s markets. But, most importantly, we’re a really engaged bunch of people who are passionate about doing a great job.

The Person

You need to be a brilliant multi-tasker, calm under pressure and not afraid of new challenges. The role needs someone who’s comfortable working at a fast pace but with great attention to detail. We’re looking for someone who understands exactly what’s required when it comes to dealing with senior people, such as the group executive team.

A sense of humour is important too and we’re a team that puts a great deal of emphasis on looking after each other - so if you’re not a committed team-player this role isn’t going to be right for you.

Duties & Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for a busy corporate communication team – which could include manageing a live TV or #Uncut broadcast, managing the media events for results announcements, arranging international media briefings or ensuring our press cuttings service runs smoothly.

This role has two aspects: team support and 1-2-1 support for some of the communications leadership team members. You’ll be supporting all of the members of the Group Communications team with a wide range of operational activities - including event planning, supplier management, budgeting etc - and also providing PA support to one director of (Dof) and three head ofs (Hof).

And that means that you will be asked to help with lots of projects at once - so you’ll need to be really good at prioritisation.

Skills & Experience required

You’ve hopefully gathered by now that we’re looking for someone who’s pretty special. Ideally we need someone who has:

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (and if you’re a wizard with InDesign, iMovie or Photoshop we definitely want to talk to you!)
  • Experience of P2P /iProcurement and managing budgets
  • Experience of managing external suppliers
  • Prioritisation, planning and project management skills
  • An interest in communications – we would prefer you to have previous experience of working in a marketing or communications environment
  • Experience of supporting a team as well as working in a 1-2-1 relationship.
